Dr. Todd LePine, MD

Dr. Todd LePine graduated from Dartmouth Medical School and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, specializing in Integrative Functional Medicine. Additionally, he has advanced clinical training through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. LePine is a staff physician along with Dr. Mark Hyman at The UltraWellness Center located in Lenox, Massachusetts, in the Berkshires. Prior to joining the UltraWellness Center, Dr. LePine worked as a staff physician at Canyon Ranch Health Spa in Lenox, Massachusetts, consulting with patients from around the world who were seeking optimal health. He is a faculty member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and teaches seminars to physicians on the clinical application of advanced nutritional and biochemical laboratory testing. The focus of his practice is helping patients achieve optimal health by restoring balance to nutritional biochemistry in the body while teaching them how to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. His areas of interest within medicine include optimal aging, bio-detoxification, exploration of the human microbiome and its effect on both health and disease, autoimmune disorders, and the neurobiology of mood and cognitive disorders.


Dr. David Brady, ND, DC, CCN, DACBN, IFMCP, FACN

Dr. Brady has over 30 years of experience as an integrative practitioner and over 25 years in health sciences academia. He is a licensed naturopathic medical physician in Connecticut and Vermont, is board-certified in functional medicine and clinical nutrition, a fellow of the American College of Nutrition, and completed his initial clinical training as a doctor of chiropractic. Dr. Brady has been the chief medical officer of DFH since 2003 and has been a guiding presence in product formulation and design, clinical education and support, quality control oversight and strategic partnerships for the company. He also is a founder and serves as the chief medical officer for Diagnostic Solutions Labs, and is the former long-term vice president of the Division of Health Sciences and director of the Human Nutrition Institute at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, where he continues to serve as professor emeritus of nutrition. He has appeared on the plenary speaking panel of some of the largest and most prestigious conferences in the field including; IFM, ACAM, A4M, ACN, IHS, AANP, AIHM and many more. He is in clinical practice at Whole Body Medicine in Fairfield, CT, specializing in functional, nutritional and naturopathic medicine.

Oscar Coetzee, MS, DCN

Dr. Oscar Coetzee was born and raised in South Africa, where he completed his military schooling and bachelor’s degree with majors in criminology and psychology. A formidable force on the golf course, he reached national amateur colors as one of the highest-ranked amateur golfers in South Africa.


Dr. Coetzee began his professional career at Fair Oaks Hospital in Summit, N.J., where he served as a drug counselor, suicide intervention advisor, and co-dependency specialist for two years. In 2006, Dr. Coetzee joined forces with Dr. James Proodian at Natural Healthcare Center in Long Branch, N.J., where he currently serves as the Nutrition Department’s Clinical Director. His specialties are metabolic syndrome, intestinal permeability, weight loss resistance, type 2 diabetes, sports performance enhancement and irritable bowel syndrome.


Dr. Coetzee developed his own Golf Performance Enhancement Division (The Golfologist, LLC), which includes nutritional, psychological and genetic assessment to optimize golf performance. He currently works with top-level Club Professional Golfers, Mini-Tour Professionals, LPGA members, International Asian and European Tour Players and some of the leading junior and amateur players in the country.


Dr. Coetzee joined the faculty at Maryland University of Integrative Health as an associate professor where he received the Great Esteem Award for his dedication and devotion to student performance and their academic evolvement.


Dr. Coetzee is currently a faculty member at the University of Bridgeport and the Associate Director of the Nutrition Tract in the Doctor of Health Science Degree. This degree is at the cutting edge of nutritional evidence-based science and the development of nutritional intervention protocols for various chronic diseases. Dr. Coetzee’s drive and motivation as the head of this program is to evolve the critical thinking of the nutrition specialist and truly bring nutrition intervention through science into the medical literature. Courses he currently teaches include Clinical Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Pathophysiology, Advanced Nutritional Biochemistry and Assessment, Functional Lab Assessment, and Organizational Development. Dr. Coetzee spearheaded the “virtual clinic” design of the Human Nutrition program at UB, a unique online “clinic” experience for students that set the standards for online learning and experiential experience.


Dr. Coetzee is a Certified Board Supervisor for the CNS (Certified Nutrition Specialists) and is currently on the national board exam committee for the National Association of Nutritional Professionals (NANP). He also served as legislative chair for the NANP from 2009 to 2011.

Dr. Stephanie Canestraro, DC 

Dr. Stephanie Canestraro is a Chiropractor and Functional Medicine practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine and Functional Medicine University.


Dr. Stephanie Canestraro’s journey into Functional Medicine for sports performance started with a painful personal history that ultimately gave her the determination to innovate her field and help others. Dr. Canestraro went from suffering a debilitating gut-brain dysfunction to treating the world’s top N.H.L. and N.F.L. stars and Hollywood celebrities, among others.


Persevering through the agony of her health issues, Dr. Canestraro applied what she learned from the top functional medicine professionals to her own symptoms and finally overcame her condition. Today, she applies the same methodology when treating top stars in the sports world. Clients come to Dr. Canestraro for her high level of education, clinical skills, and the personable approach she takes to treatment.
