Our Sales Teams are built with experts in the transportation and logistics industry, ready to solve problems for our customers. You represent Alpega and are the bridge between the business and our customers and partners.

Careers in Sales

Learn more about the type of careers we offer in Sales. We have different positions based on seniority within the Sales Teams.

Pre-Sales Consultant

As a Pre-Sales consultant, you have the role of understanding the customer needs and the value of our solutions for customers. You have a good background in the logistics industry and have ease in facing prospective customers.

Inside Sales

Our Inside Sales positions deal with smaller accounts, having the responsibility to do the pre-sales functions, while account managing other clients. You can work independently and, ideally, with a faster Sales cycle.

BDR: Business Development Representative

As BDR, you are the first contact point with our clients, ensuring lead generation with prospective customers that can be served with our solutions. For this position you don’t have to necessarily arrive with industry expertise, but instead have motivation to learn quickly.

Field Sales

By managing Senior, larger, and established accounts, and overseeing the current partner portfolio, according to our different solutions. For this role, we look for more senior profiles.

BAS: Business Assistant

Our Business Assistants take care of our customers in the Freight Exchange business, by handling the onboarding, development and training of customers, as well as maintaining the relationship. We look for sales & commercial profiles for these positions.

Key Account Manager

As Key Account Manager, you maintain relationships with our larger accounts, by focusing on their retention and their business growth with our solutions. If you value building relationships and keeping customers up to date with valuable updates, this can be your role.

Sandra

Sales Team Leader for Iberia (Barcelona)

Sandra joined Alpega in 2009. She is the Sale Team Leader for the Iberia market, and she is based in our Barcelona Office.

Dirk

Key Account Manager (Brussels)

"In the past 14 years, the company has changed a lot. You grow together with customers, building relationships with them.I have been at Alpega for the past 14 years. Before, I had always worked in the Supply Chain industry. At Alpega, I am the Sales and Account Manager - the biggest part of my job is maintaining relationships with our customers, focusing on retention, and growing within our Sales Portfolio.”


You can always find Dirk playing tennis or Padel in Belgium or cooking a nice meal with his family. In typical Belgium style, his signature dish is Mussels!

Giorgio

Business Development Representative (Vienna)

"I come from a family of Salespeople - my grandfather was a Salesman, and my father too. I have it in my blood! As a BD Representative, I manage 6 people at Alpega, as we are the first point of contact with our clients, making sure their needs are connected to the Alpega product and services.


"Since I joined, I learned a lot: I have the chance to talk and learn with people that have been 20+ years in the transportation management industry, while I also feel at ease to learn from our own C-level and how they operate the company.

Katarzyna

 Business Assistant, (Barcelona)

Katarzyna moved from Poland 17 years ago, directly to Barcelona, Spain. She loves fantastic Mediterranean food. At Alpega, she says she learned how to work in an international company with challenging processes.


"My role? I do a big welcome to our customers who just spent their money on our services. The client has high expectations and wants to develop their business – so, they talk to me."


Katarzyna has two kids - and so happens one who has autism. Working at Alpega allows her to have the necessary flexibility to support him and be close to the right school for him.


"At work, you should be always prepared for surprises. In life, things happen that you can't control. My colleagues know about my family, and they care about them - so I am given the right freedom to ensure I can be there for my family."

Part of the Sales Team responsibilities is to attract clients for Alpega – in some cases, it can be part of your job description that you need to be present in these events, to represent the company.

In our Pre-Sales positions, we have moments with customers, to define possible solutions, together. This enables us to have a trusted relationship with our customers.
