*This is achieved through solar credits on subscriber's bill. For each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of utility electricity used at home, subscriber will receive one kWh of solar energy credit. For example, if subscriber uses 100 kWh of utility electricity for the month but also receives 100 kWh of solar energy credits, subscriber has completely offset his utility usage for the month and owes no amount to utility for the usage. And because the solar energy credits are purchased at 10% discount to utility rates, the subscriber enjoys a 10% savings on his electric bill.
