Our single site, city-centre campus is a beautiful place to learn and socialise, just minutes' away from the heart of the action in the city.

Voted Students' Union of the year (Educate North Awards 2016), our student-run Students' Union (NUSU) caters for all your needs, from Freshers' Week to graduation.

We're a top 10 University for sport (British Universities and Colleges rankings), with over 60 student-led sports clubs, covering a wide range of sports from beginner to elite level.

There is an arts gallery, independent theatre, world-class museum, and a variety of performance spaces, which provide plenty of opportunities for you to soak up the cultural atmosphere.

Everyone needs a little extra help from time to time, so we have a wide range of services available to give you support when you need it.

Chaplains of diverse faiths are based in the University Chaplaincy. They can offer support and advice to students of all faiths and none; they also have links with many of the city’s major faith communities.
