Meet the conference themes

This year, Legal Up is expanding its programming to focus on two separate tracks:

Ideas

The topics here include past Legal Up favorites ranging from:

  • legal technology
  • ethics
  • law firm growth strategies
  • self-improvement
  • diversity, equity, and belonging

Practice areas

A new addition to this year’s conference, we are seeking to dedicate programming blocks to specific practice areas of law, including:

  • labor and employment law
  • personal injury
  • family law & divorce
  • probate
  • contract law
  • landlord & more!

Have a great presentation idea that doesn't quite meet the criteria mentioned above? Go ahead and submit it--we may just include it anyway.

Help expand the horizons of 2025 Legal Up

The deadline for submission is January 31, 2025.

Strong speaker submissions feature:

  • Actionable takeaways for attendees
  • A clear outline of the tangible impact your talk will have on attendees
  • Engaging, inspiring, and fun delivery
  • A list of your achievements and any public speaking you've done in the past
  • Any CLE eligible presentations you've given in the past

It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned or retired attorney, an office manager, a partner at a law firm, a paralegal or legal support professional, a law professor at a university, a legal podcaster, blogger, or content creator, — all submissions are reviewed equally!

We appreciate your interest and the time and effort it takes to create a terrific proposal. Thank you!

Other things to know

Prior speaking experience is not required, but be sure to show off your accomplishments - presentations, books, podcasts, blogs, etc.!

We do give preference to speakers who have hosted CLE-eligible presentations within the United States, but this is not a requirement.

Feel free to submit multiple proposals, but please fill out the form for each topic. Do not combine into one submission. We will be reviewing submissions and sharing results by the end of February.
