This is our temporary Frequently Asked Questions page. We'd like to update it but we've only received questions from one person so far and he was either an actual 17th century pirate or doing a heck of a Geoffrey Rush impression. Either way, here's what he asked. Frequently.

YARRR, what be all this then?!

We wanted to bring some magic and fun back to holiday shopping this season. Starting late November, once a day at noon Pacific you’ll get a text featuring an amazing product at a great price from a small brand. If you think what you see will make the perfect gift for someone on your list, just text back YES and the rest is magic. NO additional steps. It just shows up at your door in a couple days.

That be all?! Simple as a lame parrot it be then? I just be textin’ YES?! 

That’s it! If you want it, text YES. We’ll charge your card, send you a receipt and your item will ship out ASAP, guaranteed to arrive before Christmas.

We’re looking to strip out every possible step we can in shopping. We’re like Amazon if instead of swimming in a sea of knock off products, all you had to do was smile in the general direction of your phone to get the good stuff. More or less.

Be there anything else I can do?

You can also text MORE and we’ll send you a one-time email that tells the brand’s story and highlights a couple of their other products. Because here’s the real secret to holiday gift giving, you want that thing you give to have a story behind it. You want to be able to sit by the fireplace and tell grandma WHY you got her NA Tequila from Danny Trejo’s Spirits brand to go with that new brooch from Alison Lou.

How be you selectin’ the products then?

We personally curate everything we send your way. Our team comes from, amongst other places, Disney, Amazon, Gilt, RueLaLa and Saks 5th Ave, so…y’know, we have an eye for quality oozing out our ears. 

We don’t do reviews. That we’re willing to sell it is the review. Whether you're shopping for grandmas, grandpas, husbands, wives, parents, or kids, we'll find the best products from indie brands and send them right to your text messages.

Aye, and this’ll be costin’ me a pretty sack o’ doubloons then?

When you get a text featuring a product you like, you know exactly what you’ll be paying. it will already say the total price including any tax or shipping on that item. One price, all-in. Like we said, simplify.

There is also a nominal lifetime membership to join. Currently $2 to get you access to our offers forever. If we’re being honest, that’s mostly to make sure your credit card works. If we’re being even more honest, we’ll be testing pricing soon, so get in before we realize your neighbor is willing to pay triple that, monthly.

What be you doing durin’ the rest of the year, eh?

The rest of the year is pretty similar to the holidays with two big changes. 1) we dial back the text messages to no more than 1-2 per week instead of once a day and 2) we only send you items that specifically fit your preferences and demographic.

Okay, I’m gonna get down to brass tacks and drop the silly accent. What if I’m a brand and I think this is brilliant?
