Packing and Shipping Associate

The position of Packaging and Shipping Associate at Alta Technologies is hands-on and detail-oriented.

This role is responsible for:

Identifying tools and packaging materials needed to package the order

Using approved packaging methods to safely and efficiently pack items

Cleaning up and touching up items as needed before shipment

Measuring and weighing the packages for Logistics

Replenishing packaging supplies

Re-ordering supplies as needed

Organizing and cleaning up work area

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Excellent hand dexterity

Excellent attention to details

Ability to understands instructions and details

Ability to communicate via e-mail, messaging or phone systems with sales staff and management team

This is a mostly standing position with most of the day spent in one place and lifting various size and weight items (up to around 50lb). Close attention to details and the ability to read and understand barcodes and labels is required.

Previous experience and a résumé are both preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full Time/Hourly $15-16/hour dependent on qualifications and experience
